Il ligustrum lucidum cresce sempre. È l’unico albero di cui non mi preoccupo quando potarlo. Cresce sempre, in continuazione. E dalle sue bacche nascono sempre nel mio orto tanti altri piccoli ligustri.

Ma non li posso tenere. Ne ho fatti tre pre-bonsai, per ora. Gli altri, che continuano a crescere un po’ qua un po’ là, li sradico e li butto nel compost.
